Today, we have a very special offer for you: One of the winners of our recent contest on Messier 51, Michal Wierzbinski, has developed a masterclass of his image, a so-called PixInsight (PXI) project. A PXI project will let you understand and run by yourself the processing of a data set in PXI. From the master light frames up to the final image. And this in every detail with all necessary settings saved in the project. Michal was not only one of the winners of our contest. He had in the past won other prices like APOD. So, you can expect a very detailed image processing tool that will guide you through to a tremendous image. It is like a private and very intense workshop as Michal has invested a lot of time into the process itself. Moreover, he has accompanied it by detailed descriptions in the process icons. The entire process contains more than 150 steps in 4 workspaces! You will learn a lot from this!
Mike Lyons (one of our customers): “I’m going through and trying to digest all the steps/data in the winning M51 project package – that is simply amazing work. From your announcement for the product it sounds like he has been active and doing great work for years but seeing each step of his workflow is really changing how I’m looking at my own image processing. He obviously spent a LOT of time getting to his final product but the effort was well worth it. Not sure if he’d be up for it but I know I’d be willing to pay for more of these detailed process walkthroughs.”
If you are interested, what do you need to do? You go to our shop page, choose M51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy) by DR350 | Hellas Sky as data set. Pllace it into your cart and then add the project M51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy) Project for PixInsight (LHRGB) | Hellas Sky to your cart. The add-on product (project) requires that the basic product (data set) is purchased at the same time. At check-out enter the voucher code HELLAS-SKY-WHIRLPOOL to benefit from this offer! Once you have downloaded the project you need to unzip it and save it to one directory of your computer. In PXI you’ll find under the tap FILE the option to load a project. You just need to open the project icon from the directory where you have unzipped and saved the project to.
Until May 31 you will get both products combined for the price of 249 Euros. This includes a spectacular data set as well as the award-winning processing guide. Learn how to create an image that can pretend to win prices!
