Use of telescope:
Data collection for subscription based raw-data and for special orders as well as remote rental
With a focal length of 2939mm, this telescope is ideal for data generation at high resolution. Tracking of this telescope is done by a GM3000 mount of 10MICRON. The camera used is a QHY 600M Pro, cooled down to minus 10 degrees and using binning 2×2. We use high quality CMOS LRGB, H-Alpha, OIII as S2 filters from Baader for the data collection.
At every clear night with good or very good seeing we collect subframes with an exposure time between 0.5’ and 10’, depending on the brightness of objects. Our location south of 37 degrees northern latitude allows covering a significant number of interesting DSOs, many of them do not rise sufficiently high for qualitative photos in central Europe.
